Within the immense stone walls of this historic property, the interior of Les Glycines has been painstakingly restored in the Perigordian style to reveal its character and ambience whilst incorporating all modern amenities.

The kitchen is at the heart of this gite. It is large and well equipped with a heavily beamed ceiling. It contains a fridge, freezer, built in fan oven, 5 burner gas hob with fish kettle, microwave and a generous supply of cooking equipment and tableware.

A door from the lounge leads to the conservatory, furnished in a moroccan style and featuring a Spanish tiled floor.

There is a utility room with a washing machine, a second larger fridge, a dishwasher, a double French farmhouse sink, iron, ironing board etc.

Access to the rear of the property is from this room and also to the separate toilet

Leading off the kitchen is a large lounge with an imposing fireplace with a woodburning stove, satellite TV, DVD player, 2 leather sofas and a table and chairs for the board games which we have provided.

Also leading off the kitchen, but on the other side is the dining room with a large table to accommodate 8 people comfortably.

Outside is a big, paved, floodlit terrace shaded by trees.

It has a large table which can be extended to seat up to 12, and a barbeque, perfect for al fresco dining, and made private from LesTilleuls by the jasmine and honeysuckle screen

The bedrooms are all on the first floor, which is reached via the wide stairs which has a safety gate at the top. There are three large airy bedrooms, 2 are double, 1 is triple with a double and a three quarter sized bed, and there is a small single bedroom. All have polished oak/chestnut floors and large windows overlooking the gardens at the front of the house. The single bedroom has a window overlooking the back garden.

Leading off the main corridor is a shorter one to the bathroom,which has a hand basin, bidet, toilet and bath with hand held shower and also to the shower room and single bedroom.

The rooms are heated by electric wall mounted radiators and hot water is provided by gas.
Wood, gas and electricity are all included in the price. Bedlinen is provided and changed weekly and towels are provided (12 bath towels, 8 hand towels but no pool towels).
